Hyderabad: After Telangana prisons’ industries and prisoners-run petrol bunk profits recorded Rs 250-crore turnover in a year, a team of officials from Tihar Jail visited Cherlapally and Chanchalguda central prisons to study the functioning of industries.
A team under Tihar Jail DIG Mr. Shailender visited “My Nation” petrol bunks. They also visited industries in both the central jails. Telangana prisons’ DIG Mr. Akula Narasimha told them about the correctional activities taken up by the Telangana prisons’ authorities.
