Traffic diversions for PM Modi's meet in Telangana
Hyderabad: Hyderabad police commissioner Anjani Kumar has issued traffic restrictions for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election meeting at LB stadium on Monday. The restrictions will be in place from from 2 pm to 10 pm.
Traffic diversions will be made according to need, the commissioner said.
AR Petrol Pump Junction: Traffic barred towards BJR statue, diversion towards Nampally or Ravindra Bharati.
Traffic from Abids and Gunfoundry side towards BJR statue will be diverted at SBI Gunfoundry towards Chapel Road.
Traffic from Basheerbagh Junction towards GPO, Abids will be diverted at Basheerbagh junction towards Hyderguda, King Koti Road. Traffic from Old MLA Quarters towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at Old MLA Quarters towards Himayatnagar Y-Junction.
Traffic from Rajmohalla Road towards Old MLA Quarters will be diverted at Cemetery Junction towards King Koti or YMCA Narayanguda.
Traffic from King Koti to Basheerbagh via Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will be diverted at King Koti Crossroads towards Taj Mahal Hotel and Cemetery Junction.
Traffic from Liberty towards Basheerbagh junction will be diverted at Liberty junction towards Himayatnagar.
Traffic from Traffic Control Room (Old PCR) towards Basheerbagh junction will be diverted at PCR towards Nampally Road.
Traffic from Hill Fort not allowed towards Basheerbagh, will be diverted towards Nampally at Old PCR junction.
Parking places
Activists from Secunderabad to alight at Ayakar Bhavan, vehicles to be parked at NTR Stadium/Necklace Road via Ambedker statue, Liberty and Basheerbagh.
Activists coming from LB Nagar, Dilsukhnagar, Mehdipatnam, Old City to alight inside Public Garden, vehicles to be parked in Public Garden.
Vehicles from Musheerbad, Amberpet, Himayatnagar to be disembarked at Nizam College Ground. (Opp. CP Office gate), parking at same place
VIP vehicles to be parked at SCERT, Agricultural Office, Stanley College and Mahabubia College.
Media vehicles to be parked at Alia College.
The police commissioner requested citizens to take alternative routes to reach their destinations and avoid these routes during the specified timings. He requested citizens to use Metro Rail to reach their destination.
