Hyderabad: “Hyderabad which topped the list in development during the Congress tenure is now missing its place in the top,” said former Union minister Kapil Sibal.
Speaking to media at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday, Mr Sibal said, “Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has cheated the farmers, women, youth and others in the state. How can a Chief Minister stay away from the Secretariat all these years? When I was minister for HRD, I have allotted huge funds to Telangana along with many other states. According to the report of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, farmer suicides were increasing in the state. The example for the corruption in the state is the redesigning of Kaleshwaram project.”
He also said, “The only Chief Minister in the country ruling the state from a farmhouse is KCR. The TRS government doesn’t have a woman minister from all these four years.”
