High Court directs to allow petitioner companies to carry on their business outside the state till January 27.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court has extended the interim order granted in June this year directing the government to allow petitioner companies that organise online rummy, to carry on their business outside the state till January 27.
A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice G. Shyam Prasad was dealing with a batch of petitions filed by Junglee Games India Pvt Ltd, Play Games 24x7 Pvt Ltd and Head Infotech (India) Pvt Ltd from Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad challenging an ordinance bringing online rummy under the Gaming Act by amending the provisions of Telangana Gaming Act, 1974.
