Kishan Reddy to attend key meet in Australia

This will be his first official foreign tour since becoming Union minister.

Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home, G. Kishan Reddy, will take part in the three-day international home ministers conference to be held in Australia from November 6. This will be his first official foreign tour since becoming Union minister.

Mr Kishan Reddy said the meeting will be attended by home ministers from about 70 terrorist-affected countries. They will discuss measures required to tackle the global menace. He will be accompanied by Special Branch, National Investigation Agency, RAW and foreign affairs officials.

“We will discuss how and from where terrorists were getting funds and ammunition. We will also bid to host the next conference.”

He said India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, believes in zero-tolerance towards terrorism.
