The incident reportedly took place near 13th cross bus stand on Margosa.

Bengaluru: In a road rage incident, a cab driver followed the car of singer Vasundara Das, intercepted her twice and hurled abuses at her in Malleswaram last Monday. The police are on lookout for the accused driver.

Vasundara filed a complaint with the Malleswaram police station on Tuesday. The incident reportedly took place near 13th cross bus stand on Margosa

Road at around 4.30 pm on October 29.

In her complaint, Vasundara stated that when she stopped her car near Bhashyam Circle signal, a cab (KA 05 AE 3993) stopped to her left, but the driver wanted to take a right turn.

As soon as the signal turned green, she went straight towards Malleswaram and the cab driver could not turn right.

The angered driver followed her car, honking continuously. When she reached the next signal in Malleswaram 18th cross on Sampige Road, she had to wait for the signal to turn green.

The cabbie got down from his car and started hurling abuses at her and told her to get down from the car. She refused and continued to drive ahead and he followed her.

He then intercepted her car near 13th Cross, blocked her way and started kicking her car and tried to open the door. Soon, the traffic flow was affected and the vehicles started to pile up and he sped away.
