Shashi Tharoor slams centre, state governments

HYDERABAD: Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has slammed both state and Central governments for failing to fulfill the poll promises and other schemes that affected the people.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, Mr. Tharoor said, “The state and Central governments led by Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and Mr Narendra Modi respectively had confined all the welfare schemes to the advertisements. On the ground the implementation of the scheme was not proper. Many micro companies vanished due to GST and demonetization of old currency notes.”
