Yogi Adityanath backs Salman Khan on comments on Pakistani actors

Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath is known for his fierce pro-Hindu stance but on Sunday, he surprised everyone by backing Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s stand on the matter of Pakistani actors working in India. The Yogi said: “The nation is fighting against terrorists and not artistes.”

In a reference to the ban imposed by the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association on Pakistani artists, he said, “We are not against art and culture, we are against terrorism.”
