Hyderabad: A polytechnic student went missing from his home in Parsigutta. Police said that Satish, 16, was depressed as he had failed in exams. R. Satish was studying at the SGMP Institute near Ramoji Film City.

He had failed in the recent term examinations at the institute and was detained. This troubled him and made him depressed. On Friday, he left home for college but did not return.

Satish’s parents searched for him at his friends’ places in vain. On Saturday, his brother filed a complaint with the police and a missing case was registered by the cops.

"We are checking with his friends and college," an official from Musheerabad police station said.
