Bengaluru: HD Kumaraswamy Discharged From Hospital

BENGALURU: Janata Dal Secular (JDS) leader and former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Sunday was discharged from a speciality hospital in Bengaluru after undergoing treatment at the hospital for a couple of days.

Kumaraswamy was admitted to a speciality hospital in Bengaluru city on August 30 at around 3.40 am after complaining of weakness and discomfort. The doctors who attended Kumaraswamy stated that the former Chief Minister had a mild stroke and he responded to the treatment administered.

Prior to discharge from hospital, Kumaraswamy stated that had he ignored the health problem in him even by a day then it could be put me on bed rest and termed that he has had his third birth after undergoing treatment for his mild stroke. Kumaraswamy recalled his heart surgeries twice.

In an appeal to the people, Kumaraswamy asked them not to take health issues for granted and avail treatment at the earliest since Karnataka has some of the specialists to treat various diseases. He thanked the doctors for helping him recover from the mild stroke in a short span of time.

His son Nikhil Kumaraswamy appealed to his father to pay attention to his health and make changes in his lifestyle and asked to take adequate rest and food on time. Doctors Satishchandra and Govindaiah Yateesh spoke. Meanwhile, followers of Kumaraswamy conducted prayers in various temples to invoke the blessings of the almighty for the speedy recovery of their leader.
