MIM may field three new candidates
Hyderabad: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen is likely to field at least three new faces in the next Assembly elections in its bastion. The party as of now holds six Assembly seats in the Hyderabad Parliament segment and one more in the Secunderabad parliament segment.
Sources said the party will be replacing at least three of the seven candidates and pitch new persons. While the party has not so far declared the names of the candidates for the seats officially, sources said that the leadership would be fielding former Mayor Majid Hussain, AIMIM youth leader Yasser Arafat and one of the sons of Yakutpura legislator Mumtaz Ahmed Khan.
The party is reportedly searching for a new face for Charminar assembly seat which it had retained for several years before the delimitation.
