Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police has imposed traffic restrictions for 24 hours from 5 am on September 5 to facilitate Ganesh idol immersions. The following directions cover vehicles carrying Ganesh idols in the respective areas
Saroornagar tank: From Hayathnagar, Vanasthalipuram, LB Nagar, Uppal and Saroornagar: Via LB Nagar Junction, Kothapet, Venkatadri theatre, left after JC Brothers showroom, Shiva Ganga theatre, Shankeshwar Bazaar Junction, left towards Saroornagar tank.
From Chaderghat, Malakpet, Moosarambagh, AmberpetL Moosarambagh X Road, left turn at Konark Diagnostics Centre, left at Gaddiannaram X Road, Shiva Ganga theatre, Shankeshwar Bazaar Junction.
From Saidabad, Santoshnagar, IS Sadan, Nagarjunasagar Road:
Singareni Colony, Shankeshwar Bazar Junction.
After the immersion, all vehicles should proceed towards towards Karmanghat and Saroornagar Post Office. Visitors can park vehicles at Jyoti Club, Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Saroornagar Post Office.
Safilguda tank: Visitors’ vehicles will not be allowed towards Safilguda tank entrance gate and Venkateswara Sweet House. General traffic will not be allowed towards the tank from Neredmet X Road, Anand Bagh X Road and from Safilguda railway station.
Kapra tank: Visitors’ vehicles will not be allowed at Kapra Lake. Parking will be provided on the Hi-Tension Road in Kapra on both sides.
Heavy vehicles: Heavy vehicles have been prohibited on the following roads: Bairamalguda to Cham-papet, LB Nagar to Uppal, Uppal to Ramanthapur, Nered-met to Safilguda tank, RK Puram to ECIL.
RTC buses: RTC buses have been restricted on the following roads: Gaddiannaram to Shankeshwar Bazaar, Saidabad to Saroornagar tank, Uppal Ring Road to Raman-thapur, Neredmet to Safilguda tank, AOC gate to Safilguda tank, Anandbagh to Safilguda tank.
