Chennai: Flaying the I-T raids at a resort in Karnataka housing Congress MLAs from Gujarat DMK working president M.K. Stalin on Wednesday accused the BJP of using central agencies like income tax department, CBI and Enforcement Directorate against its political opponents.
He said similar action was not taken when AIADMK MLAs were lodged in Koovathur resort and the central agencies had not investigated the charges of bribing MLAs to vote the confidence motion moved by Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop the misuse of central agencies against BJP’s political opponents.
