Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Open University and Anna University has completed the project of linking all university libraries in the state and the digital library will come into effect very soon, according to the higher education minister K.P. Anbalagan.
He inaugurated the three day conference on automation of libraries in education and research institutions at Anna University on Wednesday. “Anna University has been ranked fifth in uploading the theses at shodhganga website. The National digital library has 65 lakh books,” he said.
Jagdish Arora, director, Information and Library Network Centre said, “Around 15 to 20 universities in state is using our anti-plagiarism software URKUND to check plagiarism.”
