Even his parents and sisters were not aware of the real reason for his return to the village last week. 'His parents came to know about his involvement in the murder only when the police arrived,’ said the aged Muthumari, according to whom police entered the village and chased him. The villagers too stated there was a power cut when the police entered the village.
