His two sisters, Kaleeswari (22) and Madhubala (20) are said to be studious as according to Idayathullah, Kaleeswari completed her degree course and is working as teacher in a nearby English medium school and Madhubala is studying at Parasakthi arts college for women at Courtallam. Ramkumar, according to youths in the village, would never mingle with them. “He is a reserved person and stays indoor most of the time even from his childhood,’ said, a youth Madasamy of Meenakshipuram. Even his parents and sisters were not aware of the real reason for his return to the village last week. 'His parents came to know about his involvement in the murder only when the police arrived,’ said the aged Muthumari, according to whom police entered the village and chased him. The villagers too stated there was a power cut when the police entered the village.
