Hyderabad: Idea cellular network customers faced an outage of services on Saturday. Many people reported a complete lack of signal in the morning. The signal strength fluctuated throughout the afternoon.
Government employees faced problems with their work: The Idea network is used by many departments of the AP and TS governments.
Unable to reach its customer service, many users took to social media to complain. P. Srujan posted a message on the Twitter handle of Idea @ideacellular: “Suddenly my sim stopped working. No signal in my area. Musheerabad,#Hyderabad. What happened to #Idea network #strange" (sic).”
Another customer wrote: “While there was no network at all in the morning, in the afternoon when the network was fluctuating I managed to call their customer care but to no avail. They just told me that in two hours the issue would be resolved and did not give any reason causing the issue.”
The network issue was resolved by the evening.
