TSRTC link ticket' to ease travelling
Hyderabad: The TSRTC is introducing a new system called Link Ticket for the convenience of passengers from rural areas who wish to travel long distance but do not have direct bus service to many areas.
It is a facility for the passenger to book a direct ticket from the place of his choice even though there is no direct bus service from his place. Nominal fee will be charged from these passengers for a ‘link’ bus that will drop them to an area of main service. Using the link facility, these passengers can book direct tickets to locations that were earlier not accessible.
The passengers will get an SMS for their main ticket as well as link ticket. They should report to the link place half an hour before departure and the ticket is valid for six hours between both points.
A total of 149 places throughout the state has been linked to 593 services on 59 long distance routes. The passenger can produce any ID proof along with the ticket during the journey. Tickets can be booked via www.tsrtconline.in or the TSRTC app which will be launched shortly.
