BJP trying to stall AP development: Dy CM
Kurnool: Resolving to put Andhra Pradesh at the top in the development index, Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishna Murthy accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of trying to stall the development of the state.
Participating in Nava Nirmana Deeksha on Saturday, he said that the BJP could not have won a single seat without TD support in the last general election.
Recalling the bitter events that led to the partition of State in the most unscientific manner, Murthy said that leadership provided by Chief Minister n. Chandrababu Naidu was unassailable and legendery.
He launched a broadside on opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and ridiculed him to provide an alternative to the development model initiated by Mr Naidu. He said Jagan was day dreaming and would soon meet the harsh reality. He also brushed aside Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and said he lacks substance.
