Adilabad: Telangana Formation Day was celebrated in government offices and government schools and decorated the crossroads and government offices with colourful illumination on Saturday.
Minister Jogu Ramanna hoisted the National Flag at the police parade grounds.
Mr Ramanna said the state government was committed to the welfare of all sections in the state. He reeled out the welfare and developmental schemes the government has been implementing in the state.
The minister paid homage to the Telangana martyrs, garlanded statues of Telangana Thalli, Konda Laxman Bapuji and Prof. Jayashankar on the occasion and participated in the cultural programmes.
Mr Ramanna said the state government was fulfilling the aspirations of the Telangana martyrs.
Collector Divya Devarajan, SP Vishnu S. Warrier, ZP chairperson Shobha Rani and others were present.
