Monsoon to reach Seema in 2 days, Hyderabad cools down
There has been an appreciable rise in maximum temperatures over the past 24 hours in a few parts of Telangana.

Hyderabad: The south-west monsoon is expected to reach the Rayalseema border within the next 48 hours, as announced by the local weather bureau.
The officials of the Met department say that the monsoon has advanced into the northeast parts of the Bay of Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, and Meghalaya; and conditions are favourable for it to reach Rayalaseema within the next couple of days.
Meanwhile, parts of the city, including Secunderabad, Begumpet, Nampally, Red Hills, Jubilee Hills, and Basheer Bagh, received moderate rainfall on Friday evening. A maximum temperature of 39.7 degrees Celsius was recorded during the day.
There has been an appreciable rise in maximum temperatures over the past 24 hours in a few parts of Telangana. The highest maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius was recorded at Ramagundam.
