Thiruvananthapuram: Schools in district shine in CBSE exam

Jyothis Central School gets 7th rank at all-India level through Ann Luella John with 493 marks.

Thiruvananthapuram: Schools in the state recorded hundred per cent pass in the CBSE Class XII exams when the results were out on Thursday. Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom scored 99.65 per cent result when out of 286 students appeared in both shifts, 285 passed. All students in Shift II passed.

Toppers in each shift in all streams are listed below:

KV Pattom shift-I Science: Nithin M. and Parvathy P. - 98.4 per cent; Commerce: Krishnendu M. - 96 per cent; Humanities: Gowri G. L. - 97.6 per cent.

Shift-II Science: Vaishnavi M. - 98.8 per cent, Commerce: Sandeep K. - 96 per cent. Out of 286 students, 101 scored more than 90 per cent marks.

Kazhakuttom Jyothis Central School also got excellent results. Out of 123 students who appeared, 100 got distinction and remaining 23 students passed with First Class. Of them, 38 are placed above 90 percentage range, whereas 15 scored above 95 per cent.

The school got the seventh rank at all India level through Ann Luella John with 493 marks.

Following students scored above 90 per cent marks in aggregate in the school:

Al Ammem (484), Fahim Gafoor (483), Rosha Dcruz(480), Abhirami Unnikrishnan (480), Swathy S.Lal (480), Salma Maheen (478), Arif Mohammed (478), Jijesh J. Kumar (478), Shahna Shaju (477), Keerthana Pradeep (477), Alisha S. (476), Isha Sara Dcruz (476), Asha Ameen (476) and Sivabhadra (475).

Thiruvallam Christ Nagar got good results as 86 of the 152 students got distinction and 66 first class in science stream.

In the commerce stream, of the 41 pupils, 19 got distinction and 22 the first class.

In the science stream, Anagha P. Santhosh stood first with 97 per cent followed by Shreyas Manu with 96.8 per cent.

In commerce stream, Sreesh S. with 95.2 per cent and Ann Mary Jiji with 94.2 per cent got first and second rank.

At Saraswathi Vidyalaya, Vattiyoorkavu, 297 of 300 students got the first class with 221 distinctions and 58 of them scoring over 90 per cent marks. In the science stream, Aishwarya A. J. and Aishwarya Moni topped with 98 per cent. Sristhija stood first in humanities with 97 per cent and Aisha G. with 95.2 per cent first in humanities.

Sree Chithira Thirunal Residential School, Kunnathukal secured 100 per cent pass.

Of the 65 students who took the exam, 33 got distinction and 32 first class. Midhun D. S. came first in science with 96 per cent and Greeshma Girish with 97 per cent in commerce.

Viswabharathy Public School, Neyyattinkara achieved 100 per cent success when 165 students appeared. Topper: Greeshma K. G.

Eight of them scored above 480 marks while 28 have A1 in all subjects, 92 distinctions and 61 first classes.

Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya posted outstanding results in the AISSCE 2019.

Out of 154 students, 134 bagged distinction and 20 first class with 49 securing more than 90 per cent marks.

Jiya Elizabeth Mathew of the humanities stream is the school topper with 97.8 per cent, Akhila D. V. second with 97.4 per cent and Neethu Chandran came third with 95.8 per cent.

Dani Rovas came in the first position in the biology stream with 95.2 per cent and Anandhu S. J. in computer science with 95 per cent. The results of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Vattiyoorkavu, is as follows: Number of students appeared: 121. Passed: 121. Distinctions: 68. First Class: 112.

Abhirami Lal (humanities) who scored 482/500 or 96.4 per cent is the school topper.

Dr G R Public School, Neyyattinkara has 100 per cent success in CBSE.

Merlin Fredy is the toper with 97 per cent in science and Anand S. with 94 per cent in commerce while ten students have 100 per cent marks in physical education. While 23 students passed with 90 per cent or above score in all subjects, 41 passed with distinction and seven with first class.

St. Francis Sales Senior Secondary School Venganoor, Vizhinjam recorded hundred per cent pass with almost 50 per cent getting distinctions.

Out of 45 students who appeared in the AISSCE from Shantiniketan School Kunnumpuram, six got A1 in all subjects and 12 an aggregate of 90 per cent and above, 32 distinctions and ten first class.

Shilpa Francis and Gouri H. are school toppers with an aggregate of 95.8 per cent marks.

ARR Public School, Nettayam, secured 100 per cent result in AISSCE.

Out of 52 students who took the exams, 28 got distinction and 20 first class.

Sumayya Fathima is the topper in science stream with 95.40 per cent and Arshitha A.S. in commerce with 9I.2 per cent.

St Mary's Residential school, Poojappura, scored 82 per cent distinction and the rest high first classes. Top scorers are Gokul C.M. who scored 96.2% (481/500) in maths- computer group and Mohammed Ghalib S. 95 .4% (477/500) in maths- biology group.

At MGM Central Public School, Trivandrum, in AISSCE exams, 17 of the 172 students scored above 90% marks in all subjects, 69 distinctions and 93 first class.

Army Central School, Pangode, and Oxford Central School, Punalur, also produced excellent results.
