Nizamabad: Nizamabad assistant commissioner of police G. Srinivas Kumar warned that the PD Act will be invoked and history sheets will be registered. Mr Kumar said that Tallur Krishna of Devi Road and Muthyam Reddy of Dubba area were arrested in separate cases for their alleged involvement in land dispute cases.
Speaking to newsmen on Thursday, the ACP said, “We received complaints from victims that they were being threatened by a few people involved in land disputes. Those entering into civil matters and land disputes will not be spared.”
“We are verifying the details of the accused who created this situation in the town,” he said.
People should approach courts in regard to civil matters and seek the assistance of revenue officials in land related disputes, instead of encouraging middlemen, he added.
