Bengaluru: Liquor shops to remain closed on poll day
City police commissioner T. Suneel Kumar has imposed a ban on liquor sale in the city from May 10 to May 12 and on May 15.

Bengaluru: City police commissioner T. Suneel Kumar has imposed a ban on liquor sale in the city from May 10 to May 12 and on May 15 to avoid any untoward incidents during the assembly elections and on counting day. The Commissioner has ordered that all liquor shops, wine shops, bars, hotels, restaurants, tavern, shops or any other shops selling liquor should remain closed from 5 pm on May 10 to 12 midnight of May 12 and from 6 am on May 15 till 12 midnight.
