Hyderabad: SBI manager held in a cheating case
Hyderabad: A SBI manager working in Kamareddy district of Telangana, against whom there was a NBW, was caught by the Pet Basheerabad police. The non-bailable warrant was issued against the bank manager in a cheating case in 2015.
Balanagar DCP P.V. Padmaja said that the accused identified as B.C. Prem Kumar was booked in a case (Cr no 203/2014) at Pet Basheerabad police station on the charges filed under Section 420 and 406 r/w 34 of IPC. The case was even charge-sheeted in a court, which also issued a non-bailable warrant against him.
Prem Kumar was then working as a Field Officer in State Bank of Hyderabad, Torrur branch in Warangal district. was booked in a case of cheating. When in the city on March 28, Prem Kumar was caught by the Pet Basheerabad Police, who executed the NBW.
He was sent to judicial custody and is currently lodged at Cherlapally central prison.
