Hyderabad: Police gives first-aid to mishap victim, then calls for help

A pedestrian involved in the accident was injured on the head and feet after he was hit by a speeding scooter.

Hyderabad: The first-aid training given to cops by Kamineni hospital and Rachakonda police may have begun to show results already. On Monday, a traffic inspector from LB Nagar, A. Nagamallu who was a part of the training, administered first-aid to a road accident victim at HUDA junction in Kothapet.

A pedestrian involved in the accident was injured on the head and feet after he was hit by a speeding scooter. Traffic cop Nagamallu, who was on his way to the police station, noticed a crowd gathered at the junction and stopped his vehicle, only to see a man was lying bleeding from his wounds. He brought out the kit from his vehicle and administered first-aid to the accident victim with the help of other cops.
