Hyderabad: A nine-year-old boy Ravikar Reddy from Telangana state has visited the Indo-Pakistan border to interact with the BSF jawans after he wrote a letter to them praising their role. In the letter, the boy had stated, among other things, that the jawans at the borders were the “real heroes.”Following this, BSF director general K.K. Sharma invited the boy and his family on a visit of the border.

Ravikar Reddy is a resident of Nizampet. He got inspired by the role played by BSF jawans in protecting the country, after he read a series of stories about them in a Telugu daily.

Then, he expressed a wish to meet them. Ravikar mailed a letter to DG-BSF. Sharma was quick to respond. The BSF made arrangements for Ravikar and his family to visit the border. Ravikar along with his family spent four days in Jaisalmer and visited outposts like Dhanana, Murar, Tanot and Babliyan.
