NDA shielding Jagan Mohan Reddy from cases, says Chandrababu Naidu
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the BJP Government has been shielding YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in the corruption cases. Hence, the government did not initiate any action against Jagan since the past five years. Addressing Telugu Desam cadre through a teleconference, Mr Naidu alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will remain as a ‘failure PM’ in the history due to his incapability to restrain corruption and illegalities.
Addressing the TD cadre, he asked them to vastly campaign about TD’s welfare schemes among the masses and to attract them towards TD in the elections.
Mr Naidu said that arch rival leaders have been uniting with TD in Kurnool and Viziana-garam and asked the TD leaders in 13 districts to work collectively, shunning differences, for the victory of TD. He alleged that YSRC has been doing immoral politics by deleting votes of TD supporters from the voters’ lists, with the help of cyber criminals, and asked the TD cadre to fight against the bid of YSRC.
He alleged that YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSRC leaders do not dare to question PM Modi, during his visit to Visakhapatnam, about the injustice meted out to AP State. He claimed that TD successfully conducted protests against Modi in 13 districts in AP State and this is the first time that a PM faced large-scale protests from the public, during his visit.
Mr Naidu stated that Modi has been giving preference to ‘political patriotism’ against ‘country patriotism’ and alleged that the BJP will go to any extent to get political mileage and similarly, YSRC has been following the same principle, without morals.
