Kakinada: 28-year-old youth admitted in GGH with Swine Flu
KAKINADA: Goru Satish Kumar, 38, of Gandhinagar 2nd street in Mandapet town has been afflicted with Swine flu. According to sources, Satish Kumar was suffering from fever on February 26 and medical officials of Mandapet Government Hospital identified Swine Flu symptoms. He was admitted to GSL Hospital at Rajanagaram.
The doctors identified it as Swine Flu and later, he was shifted to Government General Hospital at Kakinada and is getting treatment in Swine Flu Ward, under the supervision of GGH superintendent Dr. M.Raghavendra Rao.
Meanwhile, Mandapet Government Hospital superintendent K. Janardhana Babu said that a medical camp has been established at Gandhinagar in Mandapet and the medical personnel are gathering medical samples from the people under a special drive.
He said that people should maintain cleanliness and wash their hands with soap and keep the surroundings clean.
Meanwhile, district medical and health officer T.S.R. Murthy said that the district administration identified 31 private hospitals, including government and private hospitals for implementation of ‘Thalli-Suraksha’ scheme.
Pregnant women can avail services from these hospitals by submitting their ration cards and required certificates.
He said that the beneficiaries should have White ration card and their names should be included in the card.
