Hyderabad: Swaraj Abhiyan leader Yogendra Yadav said the contents of Rohith Vemula’s suicide note should be inscribed on ‘Rohith Stupa’, his memorial. Mr Yadav was speaking to students who are on a peaceful protest on the issue of Rohith’s suicide at the UoH.
Mr Yadav stressed the need to implement UGC guidelines to curb caste discrimination in educational institutions, appointing an ombudsman and effective implementation of guidelines to prevent suicides which were issued earlier by the High Court.
