Bengaluru: A 68-year-old man was knocked down by a speeding car on Doddaballapura main road on Tuesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Shivamadayya. He hails from Kanakpura taluk and had come to the city to visit his daughter.
The accident happened around 6 pm while he along with his friend was crossing the road near CRPF Gate and the car driver sped away.
