BENGALURU: Former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy appeared before a court in connection with the solar scam here on Monday.
He has challenged a lower court's order in which he along with five others were ordered to pay Rs 1.6 crore to a businessman, M.K. Kuruvilla, in connection with the solar scam in Kerala. With the Civil and Sessions Court refusing to stay its order, Mr Chandy had approached the court challenging the verdict, and also on the grounds that the court had not heard his version and it was an ex-parte order.
