Hyderabad HC judges let others take their salaries first

Hyderabad: Judges of the Hyderabad High Court on Thursday decided not to draw cash from their salaries for at least for this week in view of the currency crunch.

The judges who met informally decided not to visit the SBH branch located in the High Court premises so as to enable court staff to draw their salaries first as they felt many employees may be hard pressed for cash.

The registrars also decided not to take cash for the next few days. The SBH branch had been given cash for distribution of salary to the judges and HC staff.
