RTC sends out call for Chalo parliament'

The TSRTC is seeking withdrawal of the MV Act Amendment Bill-2017'.

Hyderabad: A call for ‘Chalo Parliament’ on November 9, 10 and 11 has been given at the round table meeting which was held by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation on Wednesday.

The TSRTC is seeking withdrawal of the ‘MV Act Amendment Bill-2017’.

Leaders from various unions of RTC K. Raji Reddy (EU), V.S. Rao (SWF), G. Abraham (SWT) and others said in the meeting that the proposed amendments would becomea problem to RTC.

“We are also seeking exemption from taxes, bringing petroleum products under GST, reimbursement for rural bus services, withdrawal of new taxi policy and other 12 demands,” they said.
