Mathikere flyover: Traffic diversion from tomorrow
Bengaluru: Vehicular movement on the Mathikere flyover will be hit for nearly 30 days because of the resurfacing work that will be taken up by the BBMP from November 3. The work will be completed by November 30.
The traffic police have made alternative arrangements. Heavy goods vehicles heading from Yeshwanthpur to BEL junction have to take CV Raman Road head on BHEL circle, take a left at the Sadashivanagar police station junction and again left on New BEL Road and head towards Kuvempu Circle and take left to reach BEL Circle.
Light motor vehicles will have to take CV Raman Road (tollgate), left turn near Mattikere Cross, reach Mattikere bus stand via HMT Road, take a left turn to reach Chowdeshwary bus stand, right turn to head towards Shankar Nag railway gate head via Matsalyanagar and MES Ring Road and then take right to reach BEL Circle.
Two-wheelers and other vehicles from BEL circle to Mathikere and Yeshwanthapur can take the usual route. Expect traffic jams on C.V. Raman Road, BHEL Circle, Kuvempu Circle and HMT Road.
