One-Hour Shramadaan for Swachhata

Visakhapatnam: In a resolute endeavour to contribute to a cleaner and more pristine India, citizens from every corner of the nation united for a one-hour Shramadaan (voluntary labour) on Sunday.

This nationwide event is designed to promote the values of Swachhata (cleanliness) and advocate for the significance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

This programme is being organised by the National Institute of Disaster Management, south campus located in Kondapavulur Village under the patronage of Rajendra Ratnoo, executive director of NIDM and with the guidance of P.S. Reddy, joint director of NIDM, Birendra Singh, campus manager, and other staff members of NIDM.

Rajendra Ratnoo, expressing his delight in seeing such a turnout, stated that "Swachhata is not just a campaign, it's a way of life. Our one-hour Shramadaan is a testament to the power of collective action towards a cleaner and healthier India."
