TRS used public funds for adverts, says Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka
HYDERABAD: Congress campaigning committee chairman Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka approached chief secretary S.K. Joshi on Monday at the Secretariat and complained that the state government was utilising public funds for their advertisements. Mr Vikramarka told mediapersons: “The caretaker government is being observed in the state and the election code has come into force from September 6. The TRS has been violating the election code and using the funds of the government. The caretaker Chief Minister and his cabinet are using public money to give advertisements in many places.”
“Those advertisements should not be given on behalf of the government. We have approached the Chief Secretary and lodged a complaint. We demanded the transfer of all bills to the account of TRS’ election expenses. The Chief Secretary has responded positively,” he said.
