Telangana polls: Congress to keep a close watch

The party will be tracking ministers in their visits to see if they are violating the MCC.

Hyderabad: With the Model Code of Conduct coming into force, the Congress has vowed to keep a close watch on violations by ministers and officials. TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has directed leaders, MPs and former MPs, MLAs, DCC presidents and aspirants to report to the Election Commission if they notice any violations of the model code in their districts.

The party will be tracking ministers in their visits to see if they are violating the MCC. The watch will intensify during the distribution of Bathukamma saris and Rythu Bandhu cheques.
