Hyderabad: Caretaker minister K.T. Rama Rao pacified leaders in undivided Warangal and Adilabad districts who were demanding that the party candidates be changed. He promised to accommodate them in various posts, and they vowed to work for the party’s victory. Among those he met were leaders from Station Ghanpur who were ranged against former deputy CM T. Rajaiah as they wanted deputy CM Kadiam Srihari his daughter Kavya to contest. Mr Srihari too asked the party activists to back off.

Later, Mr Rama Rao won Mr D. Srihari Rao over by offering an MLC seat if he dropped his opposition to caretaker minister A. Indrakaran Reddy at Nirmal. The TRS has nominated Congress defector D.
