Hyderabad: The District Education Officer (DEO) of Hyderabad has closed down the Azaan Gems School with immediate effect.
The children will be accommodated in nearby schools.
The official circular released by the DEO says, "In view of circumstances in Azaan Gems School, Towlichowki, Hyderabad, has failed to fulfil the conditions laid down and not followed the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Government of India (NCPCR) guidelines as per the report submitted by the deputy inspector of Schools, Golconda Mandal and deputy educational officer (DEO), Golconda zone, the competent authority hereby issue orders to close the Azaan Gems School (Pre-Primary classes), Towlichowki with immediate effect."
