Same gang killed Gauri Lankesh, Dabholkar, says CBI

CBI had also sought court permission for production warrant of Amol Kale.

Bengaluru: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Saturday took two accused in the Gauri Lankesh murder case on production warrant to Pune. The accused Amit Degwekar, a member of Sanatan Sanstha and the alleged arms trainerRajesh Bangera from Madikeri were taken to Pune by CBI, for custodial interrogation in the murder case of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar.

Degwekar and Bangera were lodged in judicial custody in Bengaluru Central Prison at Parapanna Agrahara. They will be produced in court in Pune on Sunday. CBI had also sought court permission for production warrant of Amol Kale.
