Hyderabad twin blasts: Court likely' to shift to Cherlapally

Hyderabad: The verdict in the Lumbini Park-Gokul Chat twin blasts case is ‘likely’ to be delivered from the Cherlapally Central prison on September 4, instead of the usual sitting of the court at Nampally.

On verdict day, additional security forces will be deployed at the prison.

Regardless of whether the five accused are convicted or acquitted, they will be taken elsewhere to face trial in a separate terror case.

Two of the accused, Akbar Ismai Chowdary and Md. Sadiq Israr Ahmed Shai, are chargesheeted in five cases each in New Delhi for possession of weapons.

Farooq Shafuddin Tankash is accused in five cases in Bengaluru for arms possession. Ahmed Shai and Anik Shafique Sayeed are accused in the Ahmedabad serial blasts.
