Hyderabad: The TS government issued the notification on Real Estate Regulation and Development Act (RERA) rules but has to still upload the notification on the government portal. The Act will come into force from September 1, 2017 and will be applicable to buildings constructed from January 1, 2017. Central government had given three months’ time to state governments to notify the rules of RERA. Accordingly on July 31, the Municipal Administration Department, issued the notification. The state government has given 15 days’ time to file objections, if any.
The state government issued GO number 202 but did not upload the information in the government portal. Director of Municipal Administration K. Bala Krishna said that the notification was about 100 pages and it would take time to upload. Real estate developers have asked the state government to remove some rules in RERA which would create huge problems for them.
