Visakhapatnam: Top leaders, including ministers, will be in Elamanchili of Anakapalli district to distribute 432 TIDCO houses to their respective beneficiaries on Monday.
There is a festive atmosphere in the town with the lucky owners getting to fulfil their dream of owning a home. Distributing the houses had been a promise of the YSRC government.
AP TIDCO chairman Jammana Prasanna Kumar arrived in Elamanchili on Sunday to supervise the arrangements. Leaders who will be present for house distribution include Deputy Chief Minister Budi Mutyala Naidu, ministers Adimulapu Suresh, Peedika Rajanna Dora and Gudivada Amarnath, apart from MLA Uppalapati Venkata Ramana Murthy Raju (Kannababu), Vizag zilla parishad chairperson Jalli Palli Subadra, government whip Karanam Dharmashree and municipal corporation chairperson Pilla Rama Kumari.
As elections are in the near future, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy wants the distribution of houses to be a grand event. The contracting agency is also coordinating with AP TIDCO for making the ceremony a grand occasion.
