Parliament diary: TD offers their parliament party room to Trinamul

Some leaders of the TD offered the room to TMC saying they should claim the room now. However, the Trinamul is yet to take a decision.

After the 16th Lok Sabha elections, the Trinamul was offered a bigger room in Parliament, but the Telugu Desam, part of the NDA Government, did not allow Trinamul MPs to enter the room, which they were occupying since 15th Lok Sabha elections. Interestingly, after the 17th Lok Sabha elections concluded, not only the number of TD MPs reduced, even the Rajya Sabha party split. The party members are now afraid that they will lose the bigger room and felt that the same room might be allotted to their rival YSR Congress Party. Some leaders of the TD offered the room to TMC saying they should claim the room now. However, the Trinamul is yet to take a decision.
