Warangal: Man who fell into well rescued after two days

He was then rushed to a private hospital in Hanamkonda, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Warangal: A businessman, who accidentally fell into an agricultural well situated in Mucherla Nagaram village, Hasanparthy mandal, Warangal Urban district, spent two days waiting for help before he was rescued on Saturday.

The man, identified as Madipelli Mogili, a native of Jammikunta, Karimnagar district, used to frequent Mucherla for business purposes on his two-wheeler. He had visited the village on Thursday and was returning to Jammikunta that night when he accidentally fell inside the well along with his two-wheeler.

He managed to somehow get through the night inside the well. He spent Friday screaming for help but to no avail as, to his misfortune, no one really came around the well on Friday.

On Saturday afternoon, however, a farmer was walking past the well when he heard Mogili’s cries. When he looked inside, he found a man in distress seeking to be pulled out of the well. Subsequently, the farmer alerted his fellow villagers, who hoisted Mogili out of the river using a rope. He was then rushed to a private hospital in Hanamkonda, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
