K Chandrasekhar Rao seeks people’s support for growth

He then paid rich tributes to the martyrs who gave up their lives for the formation of Telangana state.

Hyderabad: Ahead of the fifth State Formation Day on June 2, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday appealed to the people to become stakeholders in the effort being put in by the government to deliver transparent governance and extend better services to the people with commitment and dedication.

Mr Rao expressed happiness that Telangana state, which came into being after a valiant movement by the people, had made rapid progress in all spheres of development and had become a torchbearer for its innovative programmes, which can now be emulated by the other states in the country.

In a press communique. Mr Rao expressed satisfaction that the state over the past five years had laid a solid foundation for achieving its goals and had made significant progress in the right direction.

He exuded confidence in the fact that the Telangana society, which now has real-time experience in achieving its goals as a united force, will once again prove its mettle and with the same zeal realise its goals.

He then paid rich tributes to the martyrs who gave up their lives for the formation of Telangana state.
