VIJAYAWADA: AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is expected to induct about 20 ministers at a function in the secretariat premises on June 8. The muhurtham has been fixed at 9.15 am and is expected to last about 20 minutes.
It is learnt that Mr Reddy wants to reoganise the state by converting every parliamentary constituency into a district. This would take the number of districts in the state to 25 from 13 at present. The formation of new districts would be delayed hence Mr Reddy wants to induct a legislator from each of the 25 Lok Sabha constituencies. AP can slots for 25 ministers and Mr Reddy wants to give representation to all districts. He wants a mix of experience and youth in the Cabinet.
