Bengaluru: Woman on vacation goes missing at Indiranagar
Bengaluru: A Mumbai-based woman who had come on a vacation to the city had mysteriously gone missing after she went to a shop in Indiranagar on Friday.
Sujatha Shrestha, a native of Mumbai, had come along with her two children to visit her relatives in Indiranagar four days ago.
On Friday at around 12 noon, she left home near Indiranagar Club in HAL second stage to buy skin cream.
She left her mobile phone at home saying she will be back in 10 minutes.
When she did not return even after a couple of hours, Sujatha’s family members began to worry and searched for her in Indiranagar, but in vain.
They even circulated her picture along with the information on social media platforms before filing a missing complaint at the Indiranagar police station.
“She was home till Friday noon. At around 12 noon, she told us that she wanted some cream and would get it from a shop on the next street. She left home telling her children that she will be back in 10 minutes but did not return,” one of his relatives said.
The police have registered the missing complaint and suspect that the woman may have lost her way and does not know the address. However, the police have launched a search to trace Sujatha.
