The victim, Manilal Sahoo, was a native of West Bengal.
Warangal: A plumber working at the Medigadda barrage, which is part of the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project, died on Wednesday after he was accidentally electrocuted while working near the barrage in Mahadevpur mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
The victim, Manilal Sahoo, was a native of West Bengal. The accident took place when Manilal tried to turn on a motor and came in contact with the wire.
Manager Agasthya assured that ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh would be given along with Rs 25,000. He also said a vehicle would be arranged to transport the body.
