Hyderbad: In view of the restoration of Lalapet RoB (road over bridge) on the Secunderabad — Khazipet Railway line at Tarnaka by the GHMC, Additional commissioner of police (traffic) Anil Kumar imposed traffic restriction on the RoB for a period of two months.
According to the traffic advisory, heavy motor vehicles such as RTC buses, private buses, school buses, GHMC vehicles and DCMs will not allowed to use the Lalapet flyover for a period of two months. The entry of light motor vehicle such as cars, autos and motorcycles will be allowed on Lalapet ROB. The GHMC will start the restoration work of Lalapet flyover from Friday.
The following restrictions for entry of heavy vehicles.
Traffic diversions
All the heavy vehicles coming from Mettuguda and Osmania University towards Lalapet Flyover via Tarnaka Junction will be diverted at Tarnaka Metro Station towards Tarnaka Flyover - Big Bazar - Fire Station - Habsiguda – Nacharam - Mallapur - NFC.
All heavy vehicles coming from Moula Ali and Lalapet towards Lalapet flyover will be diverted at Lalapet Ambedkar Statue towards Shantinagar bus stop – Noori pan shop – Mirjalaguda ‘T’ Junction – Mettuguda Junction.
All heavy vehicles will not be allowed from Mirjalaguda ‘T’ Junction towards Lalapet through Shantinagar and will be diverted towards Mirjalaguda Crossroads.
